Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
You are my other Self
Yet we don't look the same
I have hair on top my head
You have a silky mane,
You have four legs to run
And I have only two
But you are part of me
As I am part of you;
Oh, tree so mighty, tall
Yes, we don't look the same
The womb from where I sprang
The earth from where you came,
But we are all earth's children
The oceans, rivers, air
We are all connected here
The sacred earth we share!
The rocks don't look like me
And yet you are my brother
The Flowers, bee, the butterfly
Connected to each other,
For all of us to live
Together like a chain
Each one depending on the next
Like earth depends on rain;
But when the chain is broken
And too many links are gone
All Life is out of balance
And that's when things go wrong,
Man uses earth unwisely
Thinks resources never end
He tears up and destroys
Creator, more will send!
All creatures live within the Laws
The Universal kind,
They never went to college
But none smarter will you find
We ARE our other Selves....
We ALL live in one pool
Don't take away what you can't replace
Or guess who is the FOOL?
