The Forest of Dreams
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
Imagine a magical forest deep in your minds eye.
A place where all your troubles you can wave goodbye.
Imagine sunbeams cascading through the lofty trees.
See the tall and evergreens showing their lengthy beams.
Imagine the forest animals playing together for fun.
They romp and play happily till day is done.
Wouldn’t it be lovely to wander through this magical place?
You enter in and tackle the day at your very own pace.
Then at night you find a quiet place to rest.
You snug in a tree like Robins in a nest.
You sleep soundly knowing you are free from harm.
The starry sky and nocturnal scent is a heavenly balm.
When you wake you are rested and ready to leave.
You are invigorated, refreshed and ready to believe.
You come back to reality with peace of mind.
True happiness and peace will you surely find.
