THE GIFT OF YOU

The gift of you is precious
No matter who you are
American, Mexican,
A country from afar!
The gift of you is precious
Whether crippled body, whole
For the parts that truly matter
Are your mind, your heart, your soul!
The gift of you is precious
Whether mammal, fish, or bird
Our lives are all connected
The human, feathered, furred!
Every fingerprint is different
Each zebra's stripes are, too!
Every living thing has value
From blades of grass to you!
Our hearts are all the same
Electric is the beat...
The living breath is Sacred
The breath of Life so sweet..
Dance the joy of living
A song of life anew
Whatever Life you are
The precious gift of you!
