Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Gray days that blow and roar
That whistle through the pines
Bitter cold that bites through coats
These are winter's signs...
Mountain snows and little does
That stamp their tiny feet
A heavy log and toasty fire
Thankful for some heat....
Round silver moon high above
In deep and velvet space
A great-horned owl glides along
Silently 'cross it's face....
Christmas near, warmth and cheer
I say my prayers each night
That mankind's heart will soften
And the world will be all right....
No killing of a living thing
No hate nor anger shown
No hungry or forgotten folk
A Peace we've never known...
No hateful words are spoken
Not negative in thought
But encouragement, affirmation
Acceptance is sought....
No suffering little children
The elderly, the frail
Society will lift us up
Not make sure we fail!
As winter time and cold sets in
And Christmas drawers so near
Take away the hate in hearts
And take away the fear...
We all are precious in God's sight
No one better than another
Praise Creator and thank Him
For our sisters, for our brothers.......
