(Apples, Cosmic Crisp) The home page of Cosmic Crisp says: "The Cosmic Crisp® apple is the
remarkable result of 20 years of study and research by Washington State
University’s world-class tree fruit breeding program. Classically bred and grown
in Washington State, the Cosmic Crisp® apple is a cross of the
Enterprise and Honeycrisp varieties." They are sweet, juicy, and crisp; a good
eating as well as baking apple. The only nutritional information we could find
for cosmic crisp apples was that an average size of 140 g. has 100 calories, and
contain: 0.5 g. fat, 24 g. carbohydrate of which 15 g. are sugar, and 6 g. are
fiber, <1 g. Protein, 0.3 mg. iron, and 120 mg. potassium.
