As a result of PETA's investigation and the police investigation that it prompted—three members of the family running these hideous facilities have been charged with a total of 97 counts of cruelty to animals for the alleged abuses at their store.

A recent PETA investigation exposed the intense suffering of animals held at a horrific breeding warehouse and pet store in Colorado:
We’ve just learned that—as a result of PETA's investigation and the police investigation that it prompted—three members of the family running these hideous facilities have been charged with a total of 97 counts of cruelty to animals for the alleged abuses at their store.
We continue to push local officials to file similar charges against those responsible for the misery documented by our investigation at that hellish breeding warehouse.
