We were pleased to let the Barcelon activists use our logo. Several cities have done this and it shows that this is an international campaign.
Last May, an activist in Barcelona got in touch with us about their campaign to shut down the horse-drawn carriage trade in their city. They were preparing flyers and working with the government.
We were pleased to let them use our logo. Several cities have done this and it shows that this is an international campaign. This is why we started Horses Without Carriages International in 2008.
Just recently we got the great news that the activists were successful and Barcelona will, in fact, ban horse-drawn carriages, effective June 2018.
