Love is an Action Verb
You probably have come to this website because you are
an animal lover... Maybe a cat has been a comforter, healer, or a friend
to you.
I survived a plane crash in 1972. My cat Molly was my
constant companion through months of recuperation from painful back
surgery. I know the comfort a purring cat can bring.
Our cats are more than just cats. They can cure
anxiety, make us more compassionate people; they can even save lives!
I knew a cat named, Genny, who saved her owner from
being killed in a fire! Alec fell asleep after leaving a coking pot on the
stovetop. Genny woke Alec up and both owner and cat survived. Genny was
awarded as a HERO by the ASPCA!
And who would think a cat could definitively change your
life? Nina, a neglected and sick stray, gave me my lifes mission and
purpose. Because of Nina and her babies, I am the president of C.A.T.S.,
Inc. in Schenectady, NY.
The strays who come to C.A.T.S. were once someones
Molly or Genny or Nina. However, unfortunate circumstances have found them
lost, abused or neglected. C.A.T.S. has helped hundreds of kitties find
rest, health and happy homes!
Take action and adopt an orphaned kitten, volunteer your
time or send us a donation (PetSmart gift cards would be very much
appreciated!!)
