Directory of Vegetarian (Vegan) Pastors and Churches Who Are Animal Friendly
All Saints is an animal-friendly parish, ministering to animals and their human companions in the Franciscan tradition. We are a member parish of the Episcopal Network for Animal Welfare, and our Rector is a professed Third Order Franciscan and a practicing vegetarian.
We hold annual Blessings of the Animals (on or about October 4th, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi), have an animal cemetery on the church grounds, and pray for healing for sick and injured animals/pets.
We promote a vegetarian alternative lifestyle, especially during Lent, and the exclusive use of free-range, kosher, cruelty-free and organic meats for those who are not vegetarian/vegan.
We do not promote any meals or celebrations that are centered around the killing of any animals (shrimp boils, Bar-be-que's, etc.). as required by the Episcopal Network for Animal Welfare.
