While, with Steve, I understand that animal sources can provied protein and other necessities in times of hunger, what I don't understand is that HPI is SOOO focused on animals.

Why is there not some thought of providing seed and plant-based agricultural help?

It seems to me that they are just exporting the West's carnivorous attitudes, rather than meeting needs in the best ways.

Seems pretty short-sighted, imo.
