I appreciate your point, and your comments. I agree with you, that is, about factory farming.
I'm not aware of the discussion in regards to pacifism or intervention by force. Maybe I missed those e-mails.
What I really think is that the attitude employed by Mike Savage is the same attitude that is employed by an entire culture that condones killing and torture on factory farms. It's the same hard heart. And the horrible notion that God could possibly have intended that kind of cruelty to animals, humans, or any part of creation.
I keep remembering the picture of the young son sitting by the deer he killed and grinning from ear to ear. This was a kid who didn't need to kill in order to survive, didn't need to hunt, and wasn't defending his life in any way. He is using (I assume) some fairly hi tech, expensive, gear, including the clothing to stay warm and visible. It's very sad.
