In Reference to: Kyoto Zoo Visit

Thank you very much for taking the time to contact the Born Free Foundation
with information about wild animals in captivity at Kyoto zoo. Sorry, for
the delay in replying, but your email has only just filtered its way to the
Zoo Check team.
All reports are taken very seriously and investigated to the best of our
ability. As with much of the work of the Born Free Foundation, resolving
animal welfare problems can involve many months of work, and there is not
always an immediate outcome. Each report is incorporated into our active
complaints database, which helps us to identify trends and areas for
possible new campaigns.
We will be writing to you at greater length with information in due course,
but would ask you to please bear with us as it may take us a little while.
Your support is greatly appreciated as the more information we receive about
captive animal exploitation around the world, the more lives of animals we
can hope to improve.
