In Reference to: Cruelty Reaches Further Than Pets
Thank you for bringing this to public attention.
How can we pretend to be an educated, sophisticated, and civilised society when this is going on?
The problem as I see it is that all of our legislators know it happens....yet they won't do anything about it. It seems to be left to amateur bodies and overworked cruelty prevention societies to fight for any change.....and against huge corporations.
I doubt that it is tenable in the future as society becomes more and more aware, not just of what we are doing, but what our community leaders aren't doing.
