Thank you for writing, but we also need to be careful not to deal in fantasies while talking about being compassionate.

Plants and bacteria are non-sentient organisms and thus feel no pain as do humans and other animals.

And, yes, there is killing in this corrupted world, but a great deal of it we can and should prevent, like allowing your cat to kill other animals.
