In Reference to: Humane Slaughter Simply a Myth
A powerful and important piece of writing. I drive past an abbatoir on the way to work each day and often pass the stock trucks crammed full with sheep. I am physically shaken and feel sick and saddened by the fate I know these poor animals will suffer in the very near future. A handful meat eaters are aware of the abhorrent cruelty and claim they're not affected by it . But, how any caring, compassionate person can choose to continue to support this cruel industry is beyond me.
