In Reference to: Humane Slaughter Simply a Myth
The intense cruelty of factory farming baffles me, and industry is allowed to get away with it because of the code of practice agreed to by government and industry. In most cases they are ALLOWED to abuse the animals, although they don't word it that way.
I can't stand the hypocrites who get upset when a dog or cat is abused, by turn a blind eye to the DAILY suffering of animals in factory farms. Why do we allow double standards. Live exports is another example of cruelty approved by government.
