In Reference to: VESTIGIA
To Whom It May Concern...
Dear Friend,
I am aged 70 and must say (although I'm not big into poetry) this is my all-time favourite poem.
I am taking a writers' workshop and no one there ever heard of Bliss Carman nor Vestigia! Consequently they have asked me to recite the poem this week, which will also provides me an opportunity to educate them a little on Bliss Carman! What may amuse you the most is that I am bringing with me to the class a book entitled "Modern Poems for Modern Youth" in which Vestigia is.......this was my 1956 high school poetry text book which I have kept/cherished all these years!!
