Re: We are but Children Compared to God By Andrew Pell
Dear Joan:
We believe that the main or root problem is they lack the unconditional love and compassion of the Lord, which begins in early childhood when they are taught to lose their empathy for the animals they eat, and as a result they begin to harden their hearts. This hardness then spreads into other aspects of their lives.
We humans need to feel the pain and suffering of the whole of God's creation, and work to protect it as the peacemaking children of God that Jesus called us to be.
