"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same
time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel
called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
After we were married (over 45 years ago) Frank introduced me to eating
artichokes in a way that I had never heard of before. If you’re like I was,
and think that artichokes come pickled and in little bottles, or that most
of the artichoke must be tossed out so that the small “heart” can be used,
there is a real treat in store for you. This is really a fun-to eat food!
