Hoffman Helpful Hint: Colorful Mashed Potatoes – 4 June 2008

When most people hear the words “mashed potatoes,” they probably think (as I’ve always thought) of a pile of white mashed potatoes topped with some sort of gravy.

Well, we came up with a new twist to the usual bland “mashed potatoes,” and they’re colorful, tasty, and easy to make: Mashed Potatoes with Beets, Onions and Allspice. Although we used canned beets for this recipe, fresh cooked beets could be used. For this recipe, visit:
