AUSTRALIA'S greedy wool industry deserves international condemnation. Australian sheep have been deliberately bred with wrinkly skin - to obtain more wool and thus optimum profit. The simplest way to reduce the problem of fly strike is to breed for plainness of breech. In plain-bodied sheep, mulesing is unnecessary
