Hi,

And thanks for the latest newsletter which I'll enjoy reading later. We now have 1,224 signatures on our petition and I've made contact with Annie Bruce, author of Cat be Good. She's even sending me her book which has lots of helpful information about declawing and other cat subjects. It will be our 'cat bible' as it also lists places in the USA where people can ask for help and advice and which we in England don't know about of course.

We've saved 11 cats so far from declawing, by educating people. We do get a bit depressed about it all, especially the ones we can't convince how cruel it is, but we won't give up.

Declawing WILL be banned worldwide one day !!!

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging comments, and for telling us more about your efforts to help animals.

Every time we open people's eyes to one area of animal exploitation, it becomes easier to let them see the suffering of all animals.

We have been seeing advertisements for small electric nail files that don't hurt the animals and keeps their nails short. Are they being sold in your area?
