I read with joy the March 2002 Future Visions essay "Dominating Nature" by Martha R. Herbert. At last, someone has the courage to "tell it the way it is". The control freaks she mentions are obviously full of fear. They work hard to indoctrinate as many as they can into their wretched world-view. After all, misery does love company. Speaking of love, 1 John 4:18 says:
18. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (New King James Version)
