FOLLOWING RELIGIOUS LEADERS: LAST DITCH ATTEMPT TO MISS GOD

My definition of religion is…people doing what they want to do and putting God’s name on it.

To be spiritual, is to do what God wants you to do. Doing His will is not hard to understand…It’s just hard to do…if you still want to play it…your way.

So…for people who do it their way…there are religious leaders.

They want your money and they want the head count. They want you to spread the word that they’re great. In turn, they will give you something to focus on, other than your lack of surrender to God and that would be…them.

Jesus didn’t care for them and they didn’t care for Him. They were jealous of the crowds He drew, so they slandered Him constantly, to ruin His reputation.

The core of evil is self. The core of the truly spiritual…is God’s will. The religious want you to think that they are spiritual, so they talk, talk, talk about their faith and the good deeds they do or have done.

When Jesus did a miracle, He asked them to say nothing. His service was for God’s eyes only.

Jesus said of religious leaders that they were blind leaders leading the blind, that both would fall into the ditch.

Following religious leaders is a way of killing time, while relieving pressures brought about by the conviction of The Holy Ghost.

No one can pluck a single child out of God’s Hand…so religion is for the lost.

The religious magnify their name, while they magnify God. This is called name dropping. By linking their names with God, they are saying, see…you can obey me, I’m up here on God’s level.

Money is always a big thing with religious leaders. Since they are not supported by God, someone has to pay their way.

Religious bragging, such as listing their accomplishments or how God is blessing them is another telling sign.

It’s better for you to follow God, than follow another person following God. Cut out the middle man.
