I am delighted to introduce Moments of Compassion, a new series of a brief uplifting reflection each third Wednesday at 7 a.m. (eastern Time) from All-Creatures.org.
Each approximately 90-second presentation will offer a mid-week encouraging thought, a gentle invitation to compassionate action, and a short prayer. We must take time to pause amid the busyness of life, to become more attentive to the living beings around us and recognize the many small opportunities we are given to become instruments of God’s peace throughout each day.
In this first reflection, One Small Act of Mercy, we are reminded that changing the world does not always begin with something enormous. It may begin with a gentle word, a compassionate meal, water for a thirsty creature, or care for someone who feels forgotten.
Please pause and pray with me—and then look for one small way to make life kinder today.
