There is a pretty yellow dandelion that grows by my back door.

Today I saw it in a way I never have before.

I saw it as a work of art

That brightens up my day,

No longer was it just a weed to pull and throw away.

I thank the Lord for opening my eyes so I may see,

All the beauty that is found it such simplicity.
