Little White Coats
By Bob Caltrider
An Animal Rights Poem from All-Creatures.org

All of God's creatures have rights, a fact that most people don't seem to recognize. This includes both human and non-human animals, but not all of them can speak for themselves.

Little White Coats
By Bob Caltrider

 It's small and white,
with eyes so bright,
it loves it's briney sea!

It swims with glee in those briney seas,
and finds his joy on those icy flows on those northern shoals,
those little guys called Little White Coats.

But upon this land of earthen man,
there joyful life is ending,
for brutal clubs do thirst for blood
and little lives descending.

These men with ice cold hearts,
now lay in wait with vicious traits,
to practice their cruel and shameless killing!

Their deaths are slow,
on that icy flow,
where their blood now runs in that ice and snow.

With heartfelt signs we close our eyes,
to the cruelty of those other humans,
Oh then a promise can this be honest or just another lie!

Now his heart is cold,
these men so bold,
that kill defenseless creatures!

Now Little White Coats,
hear all other humans cry,
BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD GO I !
