U.S. Armed Forces: Animal Wound Labs

Only one purported document—claimed to be classified
in the “interest of national defense and foreign policy”—
with other records gone “missing"

in animal torture—
by shooting
poisoning
setting on fire
stabbing
amputating
pulling out organs
radiating
forcing tubes down throats

of animals alive—
assigned to die

for "research" sake
by order of the Department of Defense
claiming best practices

for U.S. military to simulate
human casualties
in times of war.

The "study of wounds" as pretense
for what is needed

in the human examination—
not of animals, different species,

but of the mirror view facing
human widespread, accepted excuses.
