the mentally deprived
or
the morally depraved

can
lay the trap
spread the poison
shoot the bow
or
pull the trigger

on animals

whose only goals
are

to survive
and
raise their young

whose sins
are
none

whose existence
and diversity
are

the very essence

of the cornucopia
of blessings

that comprises

life on earth.
