LIFE RIGHTSPrecious pets have the right
A right to love, not pain
Food to eat and warmth of hearth
Not left out in the rain..
A right to proper medicine
To be cared for if not well
The right to go to wanting homes
Not in laboratories dwell..
Wild creatures have a right to life
To live in peace with man
Free to roam upon this earth
It man's heart is kind...they can
Extinction is not fashionable
To me neither cruelty, pain
Sometimes fashion's responsible
For us not being humane!
They electrocute minks
For their oil in spray for hair!
Poachers take claws, gallbladders
>From the Northern California bear!
Human beings are not immune
From habitat destruction
But we think all progress is good
And continue all kinds of construction!
Basically we believe
Only we're an important life-tie
And we alone should decide
What life should live or die
Poison our earth disregarding life
Just remember...ALL share a same fate
We must change our prejudiced thinking
Before we find it's too late.....
