Abortion and Animals Rights: The Connection
Comments by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 15 Jan 2008

Dear Chuck:

We appreciate your candor, but were really hoping that you would be able to answer our question.

You mention that you are part of the sinful world; well, we suppose that we all are, because none of us are perfect, no matter how hard a person may try. However, this doesn't answer why we do or don't do the things we do.

We've been trying for a long time to understand the reason that the vast majority of people lose the empathy they were born with. We've heard that our flesh eating culture is the basic underlying cause, because we have to harden our hearts and souls to not feel the pain and suffering of the animal on our plates. But we believe the answer is more complicated, because we started there and changed. This is why we asked.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
