Animal cruelty is only fun for the devil and his minions, and for those who follow them, for they are the only ones that are empowered by bloodshed and suffering, and this includes the churches that participate in it.
Furthermore, children learn this kind of ungodly behavior from their parents and peers. The smiles on parents faces watching their children torturing insects is approval, that tells the child to do more of it for it pleases them, and since children want to please their parents, they do it again and again until it escalates.
