Thank you for writing and for your question.
When God granted the concession for humans to eat flesh, it removed the sin aspect, but not the curse, which is reflected in the health problems you mentioned. You might be interested in reading: Living in the Will Rather than the Concessions of God
However, the cruelty involved in the production of animal flesh and bodily secretions is a sin, and all who participate in the production and consuming of the products of cruelty also take upon themselves those sinful acts and are responsible for them.
