In 1 Corinthians 10:23, Paul states that "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not beneficial". And he stated this in regards to the eating of animal products said to be unclean. I understand that eating flesh is not a sin but it's the consumption in excess (greed) that can bring a curse.
I'm not trying to convince you to eat meat (I actually commend you for your ability to resist), but I don't think it's fair to say that humans that do eat meat are under a curse; especially after what Jesus did for us. Then Paul went on to say "Whatsoever is sold in the market, that eat, asking no questions for conscience sake" (verse 25).
So how can one tell if the food they purchased at the market was improperly produced?
