In Reference to: Cruel, Cold, Stupid ... and Hardly Sporting
Jenny Moxham's article is a wake-up call to the human race to see how they have hardened their hearts to feel the pain and suffering of other species.
When a person loses their empathy for another species, they begin to become sociopathic, which often leads to a similar lack of feeling toward their fellow human beings.
It is obvious to us, that Jenny's message touched the hearts of even the fish killers who commented on her article, which can be clearly seen in their anger and attempts to try to justify their cruelty. If they had lost all sense of compassion, they wouldn't care, and wouldn't write their comments, but the fact that they did write is a hopeful sign.
We pray that they will truly listen in their hearts and souls and become the loving, compassionate, and peacemaking children of God the He calls all of us to be.
