It's great that Dale (as well as you and others) have had such a positive influence on people.
Elaine, I think a lot of it is what you said in the HSUS film--something to the effect of seeing it (factory farms, etc.) being different than just hearing about it. Honestly, I don't recall hearing or reading much of anything about factory farms and slaughterhouses before 2007. Once in awhile, I thought about eating more veg meals but really never pursued becoming educated about what goes on behind the scenes.
