I think that all animals have rights to live even if they may appear scary; for example, snakes.  Some people are terrified and want to kill them. Of course, that then stands as animal cruelty.

People abandon dogs like the dogs don't matter, which is wrong. Personally, I think the saying "A dog is for life not just for Christmas" is very good, but then there is the saying "A dog is man's best friend"; well sometimes that is considered by people. But others no way do they consider that saying. So it is really good that people are finally taking notice which should help a lot.
