I just recently stumbled on your website (originally looking for a recipe for toasted pumpkin seeds) and found your incredibly rich and extensive recipe book. I just want to extend my thanks and appreciation for all of the recipes (especially the soup ones, which have my mouth watering already!).
I've noticed that dates are used in a lot of the recipes and am wondering if this is a vegan substitute for another ingredient. Do you have an alternative substitute if dates are too pricey or not available?
Also, thanks for the thanksgiving day recipes.
