Dear Arthur:
Thank you very much for your kind comments.
I constantly ponder why our world societies almost always seem to choose the violent approach to resolving their problems.
Is it that they enjoy the excitement of the violence? Most likely, yes, as it is borne out in our advertising, TV, and movies.
Is it that people don't care about who's being hurt? That is, unless they are the ones being hurt. Their going along with the crowd, and their silence is a good indication that this is true.
Are they just lazy and don't want to get involved? The way people complain but do nothing, and the way they hid from the truth is a strong indication that this is true, too.
With 85% of US citizens saying that they are Christians the above mentioned actions, or lack of them seems very strange, because their actions seem to say that they are following the devil more than Jesus. Gandhi said that almost all the world religions recognize Jesus as the greatest peacemaker who ever lived. The only ones who don't seem to understand this are the Christians.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank
