I found this sermon very inspirational and something I hope to remember always - that like a plant which seeks sunlight to grow and bloom, I too must aspire to reach God vertically that I may be imbued with His wonderful light and goodness.
And as an aside, the NY Times reminded us that the peaceful, loving Mahatma Gandhi met his maker on this day - Jan. 30 in 1948. Such a small short man who was a vertical giant we can only hope and try to emulate.
