Poetry, Essays and Art By J.H. Dickinson from All-Creatures.orgI hear the hush of history.
Voices that murmur
and reach my ears.
Of the long track,
and winding road
to truth.
Compassion.
Blood pulsed recognition,
of souls,
and sentience.
Of dark eyes,
that gaze into me, into you.
This moment of stillness invites us.
Starlight,
Moon hares,
grunts and bellows of herd.
The undergrowth,
and fields, alive with resonance.
Stop, breathe, feel, and listen.
Wait for the whispers
to become – a roar.
