(Squash, Dumpling) The dumpling squash, also referred to as sweet dumpling
squash is a small (4-inch diameter, mildly sweet-tasting winter (autumn)
variety squash resembles a miniature pumpkin with its top pushed in. It has
cream-colored skin with green specks, and green stripes. Dumpling squash weigh
only about 7 ounces, which make its sweet and tender orange flesh with it
colorful skin an attractive and great size for stuffing and baking as
individual servings. The seeds are also great for roasting as a snack. We could
not find individual nutritional information for dumpling squash, so we included
only general squash information. The nutritional value of one baked half
(without stuffing) would be slightly less than that shown in the 100 gram
column.
