Soup - Carrot, Apple, and Orange:
Ingredients:
1 cup Apple Juice
2 large Carrots
1 Apple
1 Orange
1 cup Ice Cubes
Preparation:
Clean the outside of the Carrots and Fruit. Cut off any dirty areas and the bad top of the Carrots, or peel, and cut into pieces. With a vegetable peeler, cut off the outer orange color of the orange, leaving the white pulp, and cut into pieces. Cut the apple into pieces and remove the seeds.
In a high-powered, pulp-containing, blender (Vita-Mix type):
Add the ingredients to the blender in the order listed. Mix at high speed until a creamy smooth texture is achieved.
Serve cold. It is also an excellent treat for breakfast.
The above recipe is in keeping with God's creation intent (Genesis 1:29-31): 'Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-- everything that has the breath of life in it-- I give every green plant for food."
