a little girl,
was there something wrong with her?
she shouted out a funny word-
seemed she couldn't hold back
the girl was a teenager-
her mommy and daddy
nearby-
in a waiting room at the dentist office

and people began to let her know
their discomfort-
and her daddy saw her take in the rejection
and her daddy saw her pain-
and her daddy put his arm around her
and said...
