One United Family of God
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
We are all brothers and sisters in God's divine economy.
It is only our beliefs and prejudices that will keep us from being free.
To be free is to have unconditional love for one another.
Set out as a daily task to help your sister and brother.
Our brothers and sisters may be strangers in need.
Focus on them rather than riches or greed.
Please commune with God but talk to a friend.
Show compassion to all and do not offend.
When relationships are broken, you need to mend.
The light of God penetrates our soul from the realms of endless day.
Stretch your hand, but please do not delay.
The animals and pets are also part of the divine family.
They too can feel and see.
Animals may be angels in disguise.
This may be discerned by the very wise.
Treat all life as a member of one united family.
Love unconditionally, Love freely, love abundantly.
