The Mirror of God
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
When we look in the mirror we see the divine.
Look deep within, the attributes of God you will find.
God said “Let us make man in our own image”.
God has stamped his nature on our everlasting page.
The mirror is a reflection of pure love and kindness.
All life we can truly exalt and bless.
In the mirror is compassion and servitude.
It is through this action that all life is renewed.
Standing righteous is more than a reflection.
It is not weakness to act with contrition.
God looks in the mirror and sees human kind.
We strive to be a mere reflection of the Divine.
The Sacred heart of Divine love penetrates the mirror.
The image is empowered to create a new era.
The mirror of God is there for all who understand.
Do you not see yourself as part of God’s plan?
