Animal Rights, Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Soundless,
the skein of geese
appears
above the hill,
Heading
straight toward us,
not a single honk
or yelp,
A well-formed V
silently
slicing through
the darkening sky,
No jockeying
for position
or contact calls
of any kind,
But then,
just as they pass
overhead,
The most wonderful
soft sounds,
Rhythmic wings
pushing air
to whisper
blessings
down upon us.
