From Helen Farley - 10 Sep 2005 Thank you for your website. I have shown it to my kids. Yes, my kids. Sometimes pictures speak a thousand words and I am passionate about making clear to them the importance of ending animal cruelty. I have explained to them many things including how they must check all products re: testing on animals and this has become a genuine issue for them when we shop. I want them to learn to do something about all of this in their lifetimes if I can't do enough in mine. All they can say is "this is not right, this is not right" and I am glad for their anger. I now actually hear them engage in conversations among themselves re: this website and animal abuse in general. In the meantime we are giving extra love to our rabbit who we took in at Easter with a severely damaged eye (he has since recovered completely). I felt terrible buying him from a pet shop but I was afraid of what would happen to him because he was so obviously ill and he was the only rabbit left (at least until after Easter I am sure). Thank you so very much for your work and for all you do to educate people. Sincerely, Helen Farley Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Helen: Thank you very much for writing and for telling us about what you are doing to educate your children You are a wonderful example for all parents, and we just hope and pray that more of them will wake up to the atrocities that are being inflicted upon animals, and educate their children to take a positive stand against it, as you have done. Give you children a hug from us and your rescued bunny a love pat. You've made our day! In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
