For every person who doesn't eat animal products, about three land animals and a number of sea animals are saved from suffering and death every month.

Also, the more people who exhibit compassionate ways of living, the more it helps other people to be conscious of the suffering of all animals and humans. As we end violence and suffering in one area, we spread non-violence to other areas.

When the public makes its voice heard, the suffering and abuse will end, as it did with human slavery.
