You’re welcome and thank you for the wonder comparisons and understanding of human nature. We totally agree.
When the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we are to have soft hearts. In order to knowingly inflict, pain, suffering or death upon another living being, we must harden our hearts to the extent that we no longer have empathy for the feeling and desires of the victim. What this means is that these people are actually fighting against the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the God they claim to be following. Their actions really say that they are followers of the devil.
We believe that we are justified in saying this, because we were once among them, and even though we know we have been forgiven, the horror of the atrocities we committed and had others do for us, will most likely remain with us for the rest of our lives.
